Feeling damn happy today cause i managed to take half day off today to celebrate my birthday! Something came up in camp actually and i couldn't apply for off but it ended early so here i am~
Its been a long while since I managed to celebrate my birthday on the actual day itself cause the examinations in secondary school and polytechnic always fall on the same day. Pretty lucky now eh :)

Apparently she went to Arteastiq a few days ago to paint specially for my birthday <3 Super touched! :)
We decided to head to Prive Cafe to celebrate as I've always wanted to check this place out. Luckily we drove cause it was quite a distance away from Habourfront Mrt.
I love the quiet and classy atmosphere at Prive~ And yeah, its on a weekday so its pretty quiet.
I'm sure it'd be super packed on weekends considering the awesome food they have here.

Our Eggs royale and Eggs benedict.
We decided so share so we get to try he best of both worlds~ If you guys decide to come here, you should try the Eggs royale on their All-day Breakfast menu! The salmon is flavorful and it blends in very well with the hollandaise sauce and the slightly bitter rocket.
Its probably the best eggs royale i've tried so far. Very Recommended!
The view at Keppel is so beautiful with the yacht bay and the towering Reflections building beside it.
After that we headed down to the Grandstand (Old turf club) to explore the place as we haven't been there for a while already. Oh, and i finally got to try the highly raved Vegan Burg fast food restaurant!
I never knew vegan food tasted so good. The fries doesn't taste oily at all yet it tastes so good. Same goes for the burger, the patty tastes juicy and it's hard to believe that its meat-free.
Managed to celebrate my 21st birthday with my family at Orchard hotel today! I guess its the first birthday that i've received such a lavish dinner from my parents. The other years its just like a cake and that's it haha.
It was an awesome buffet with lots of fresh seafood and hugeass sashimi yumss. I was damn excited cause its been a while since my last buffet (since Pariss closed down).

Love the alaskan crab, prawns and crayfish so much that i can't remember how many times i went back for it! The crab is super sweet and fresh :D

Headed down to Tiong Baru Bakery at Raffles City mall today after reading super good reviews about their pastries. I realised that i've passed by that particular outlet so many times but i've never really stopped to take a look at the wonderful pastries they have there. Hidden Treasure indeed!

Its my first time trying this and its absolutely delicious. Its really crisp with caramelised sugar on its exterior and one of their bestsellers!
Plain Croissant.
The best i've had. It tastes lightly buttered, crisp on the exterior and yet fluffy and soft inside.
Chocolate Croissant
The iced latte tastes pretty bland though. I needed like 2 servings of sugar syrup to make it sweeter.
We had dinner at this Chinese BBQ eatery as I was craving for it since I came back from my Beijing internship a year ago~ Although the taste can't be compared to the ones there!
Looking at the skewers makes me hungry again!

Headed down to the SMSA Auto Gymkhana Series Singapore 2013 held at Aviation Road today. My dad was one of the sponsors for the event so I had the chance to go down and snap some pictures and experience drifting with my own eyes!
The cars there were not the typical stock cars you see on the road everyday. They are all modified and 'zeng-ed' for performance and the drivers mostly come from Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand. Super awesome! Its like watching jay chou's Initial D in real life~
To experience this is like every guy's dream come true! I managed to catch some of my dream cars like the Fair lady 350z, Lotus Elise and the Toyota MRS in action. *Drool*

Finally got to meet up with Anne for dinner today. The last time we met was probably monthssss ago, so we had pretty lot to catch up on i guess?
Anyway, she's like one of my longest childhood friend and i've known her like since we were 9. That makes this year the 13th year of our friendship! We were even from the same primary and secondary school classes during that period. So yeah, i guess she knows me inside out! :)
Apparently i owed her a birthday dinner and she called up to claim it. (haha! :p) She was craving for some ramen so we planned to go to Keisuke Tonkotsu King, but we eventually met up quite late and its closed.
In the end we went to Swee Choon with another of her friend for Dim Sum instead!
We were so hungry that we forgot to take pictures of the food there!
Went out with my maternal grandparents & relatives today! I was kinda excited cause the only time we meet up with my maternal side is usually during Chinese New Year or once every few months cause they stay quite far from us.
Anyway we decided to head to Rakuichi Japanese Restaurant @ Greenwich V which serves really awesome Japanese cuisine. We came here once before and it was so good that now whenever my mum decides we have jap food, it has to be here!
I love the presentation of the Sashimi platter, and its super fresh!

This is probably my favourite! The aburi sushi tastes so awesome, all the burst of flavours just explodes in your mouth!
